The Silence of her Sorrow

No perfect clarity for the way he had done her over.

Remorse, the most painful sentiment that could embitter his heart..

But empathy far gone now, she laid down in satiety.

She's grown cold and now bid her farewell to hope, said her hello's to sorrow.

The kind he inflicted was not one of mercy, she knew his masochistic intentions

The ones that would in turn tear her open and feed her soul to the dust.

She knew them all..

But she thrived on his merciless actions,

her sadness had depth, whilst her happiness was shallow..

the tears of her cries go deeper than her laughter ever could.

The silence of her sad song, fed her aching heart for any kind of emotion,

for numb was all she'd ever known, numb was all she was born into..

and to her, the silence of her sadness was better than the cries of her false pretense of happiness.
